'Pocahontas' is a compact, erect, rhizomatous perennial with toothed, palmate dark green leaves and erect robust branching stems bearing an abundance of slightly cupped, double rose-pink, sinuate flowers with sinuate margined, slightly frilled petals and golden central boss of stamens from midsummer into autumn, followed by cotton white seed heads providing interest in autumn and winter.
