A clump-forming perennial producing a mound of finely divided, deep green foliage and branching, upright stems to around 60cm tall. From late spring into summer, it bears flattened clusters of small, deep cherry-red flowers. This robust, heat-tolerant selection performs well in warmer British summers and provides striking mid-border colour. Selected in 2019 for its superior flower intensity and foliage quality compared with earlier strains
